Residence - Asheville, NC

On a lot with a steep, consistent slope down from the road, driveway access became a principle issue in this design.  In lieu of investing in hundreds of square feet of retaining walls and lengthy drives, this project introduces a simple bridge.  That bridge becomes point of entry for cars and pedestrians.  The rear of the house is the view side, and all rooms have that view.
