Hospital Café - Charlotte, NC

This tricky renovation and addition of a rehabilitation hospital’s retail Café and patient food service function was recently completed. Among several design challenges, one goal was to provide daylighting without glare from west-facing glazing.  A deep roof overhang and sunscreen was successful, providing light and courtyard views.
